Tuition
Surrey Hills Dyslexia offers specialist 1:1 tuition for learners of all ages.
We offer tailored tutoring sessions, designed to meet the specific needs of each learner. Teaching is fun and multi-sensory and uses the learner’s strengths to develop his/her weaknesses. A Dyslexia diagnosis is not necessary to benefit from these sessions and our tutors have experience of working with learners with a range of additional needs including ASD and ADHD, as well as Dyslexia.
Sessions are usually one hour long and take place face-to-face in Shamley Green, Guildford GU5. Intervention may be short-term and focus on study skills and revision strategies for older learners or it may be longer term, especially with younger children, to address gaps in knowledge and develop core literacy and/or numeracy skills.
